About Catholic Education

"The very nature of school life engages us in the continual pursuit of getting better at what we are doing as a school community and as a Christian community." Denis Higgins, Director of Catholic Education, Sandhurst

The teachings of Jesus, understood as Gospel values, are integrated throughout the planned, enacted, and experienced curriculum, not only in Religious Education but across all Domains and school processes.

Catholic Identity is manifested in the way schools encounter and engage in the everyday, bringing social justice to life - influencing leadership structures, planning and sharing in resources and facilities, curriculum content and process, and pastoral care. It is about being in 'right relationship' and responding to the call 'to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.' (Micah 6:8)
